Course Descriptions:

AT13U: Kids Race 5 - 13 years old

100 yard Swim/ 400 yard Run

-All registrants must be able to swim without flotation device assistance-

AT5K:

1K Swim: A triangular, clockwise 1/2 k course in Horseshoe Cove. Athletes will go right at the letter "A" on the map link heading back to the swim start/finish. Athletes must complete the course twice, exiting the water between loops. Waves of 100 will start every 5 minutes beginning at 9:00am. Athletes will be assigned a start time determined by age group and gender. Start times will be posted at packet pick-up.

Transition Area: A secured transition area, open only to

participants, will be located just west of swim exit. Athletes will be assigned specific transition spots corresponding to their race number.

4K Run: The run follows the path west up a steep grade to the Golden gate Bridge with the turn-around point at the 2K mark on the bridge. A race monitor will be at the 2k point to verify course completion.

AT10K:

2K Swim: A triangular, clockwise .41 mile course in Horseshoe Cove. Athletes will go right at the letter "B" on the map link heading back to the swim start/finish. Athletes must complete the course three times, exiting the water between loops. Waves of 100 will start every 5 minutes beginning at 8:00am. Athletes will be assigned a start time determined by age group and gender. Start times will be posted at packet pick-up.
