Course Descriptions:
AT13U: Kids Race 5 - 13 years old
100 yard Swim/ 400 yard Run
-All registrants must be able to swim without flotation device assistance-
AT5K:
1K Swim: A clockwise 1k looped course in Mission Bay from Tecolote Park out and around Enchanted Island and back to the park. Waves of 100 will start every 5 minutes beginning at 9:00am. Athletes will be assigned a start time determined by age group and gender. Start times will be posted at packet pick-up.
Transition Area: A secured transition area, open only to
participants, will be located 100 yards from the swim exit. Athletes will be assigned specific transition spots corresponding to their race number.
4K Run: The run is an out and back course along the paved path next to the water. The turn around is at the marked 2k point. Race official will be on site to verify the athlete reaching the required distance.
AT10K:
2K Swim: A clockwise 1k looped course in Mission Bay from Tecolote Park out and around Enchanted Island and back to the park. Athletes must complete the course twice, exiting the water between loops. Waves of 100 will start every 5 minutes beginning at 8:00am. Athletes will be assigned a start time determined by age group and gender. Start times will be posted at packet pick-up.

8K Run: The run is an out and back course along the paved path next to the water. The turn around is at the marked 4k point. Race official will be on site to verify the athlete reaching the required distance.
Post Race Food: Orange juice and bagels will be served following the event.
Awards Ceremony: 10:00am in the registration area
